Roman Silver Coin Hoard Discovered During Excavation in Bulgarian Capital

A large hoard of Roman silver coins of the 1st and 2nd Century AD has been discovered by archaeologists working in the Bulgarian capital city, Sofia. Known to the Romans as Serdica, Sofia was once a major Roman urban site.
